The invention discloses a level adjusting circuit and an image sensor. The level adjusting circuit comprises a signal detector, a pulse generation circuit and a current generating circuit. The signal detector is coupled to an output terminal of a pixel and is used for detecting a signal level of the output terminal so as to generate a detection result at a detection node. The pulse generation circuit is coupled to the detection node, generates a set of pulse signals according to a pixel control signal, and adjusts the pulse width of each pulse signal in the set of pulse signals according to the detection result. The pixel control signal varies a signal level of a floating diffusion node of the pixel. The current generation circuit is coupled to the output end and the pulse generation circuit, and generates an output current flowing through the output end according to the pulse width of each pulse signal in the group of pulse signals so as to adjust the signal level of the output end.
