Disclosed are an insulating device for a bearing (10) and an insulating bearing. The bearing is installed in a seat (2). The bearing having an inner ring (14) and an outer ring (12) with an outer circumferential surface (18) and opposing axial ends (20, 22) and a plurality of rolling elements (16) disposed there between. The insulating device (30) comprises: a first annular part (32), which is adapted to be in contact to the outer circumferential surface (18) of the outer ring (12), and a second annular part (34), which is also adapted to be in contact to the outer circumferential surface (18) of the outer ring (12). The first (32) and second part (34) form the insulation device (30) which is adapted to contact, in an assembled state of the bearing (10) in the seat (2), both the outer ring (12) and the seat (2).
