According to the scheme, the energy storage method comprises the following steps that air is gradually compressed to a second set pressure value through a two-section type compression device to form high-temperature and high-pressure compressed air; a heat exchanger exchanges heat with high-temperature and high-pressure compressed air, and the heat exchanger transfers heat to a heat storage tank for heat storage; the compressed air subjected to heat exchange is introduced into a first expansion machine to be expanded to a first set pressure value and is converged with reflux liquid in the storage tank; the converged fluid passes through a hydrate reactor to generate air hydrate; and the water separated from the air hydrate and the air hydrate are stored in the storage tank through a first separator.
