Summary:The invention relates to a method for identifying an association of phase lines (L1, L2, L3) of an electrical distribution network (3) to connections (U, V, W) of an unbalanced-load-bearing electrical device (1), wherein the device (1) is connected to a plurality of phase lines (L1, L2, L3) of the electrical distribution network (3). The method comprises the steps of: setting target parameters (20a, 20b, 20c) associated with an unbalanced-load profile at the connections (U, V, W) of the electrical device (1); detecting a measuring parameter (21a, 21b, 21c), in particular a time curve of a measuring parameter (21a, 21b, 21c), at each of the plurality of phase lines (L1, L2, L3) by means of a detection unit (2); comparing the detected measuring parameters (21a, 21b, 21c) with the target parameters (20a, 20b, 20c) of the unbalanced-load profile; and identifying the association of the phase lines (L1, L2, L3) with the connections (U, V, W) on the basis of the comparison.
