Summary: | A secondary lithium battery 100 includes (a) a housing enclosing an interior space 111, and (b) a composite body 104 arranged in the interior space 111 and including at least one positive electrode 105, at least one negative electrode 106 and at least one separator 112, wherein (c) the housing includes a metal housing part 102 having an inner side pointing into the interior space and an outer side pointing away from the interior space, and (d) the metal housing part includes: a first layer 109 consisting of aluminium or an aluminium alloy that forms the inner side of the metal housing part 102, and in direct contact with the first layer, a second layer 110 consisting of nickel or a nickel alloy that forms the outer side of the metal housing part 102.
