The main body control system comprises a human-computer interface, a PLC module, a main servo driver module, a main servo motor module, an adjustable mold mechanical module, a sensor module, an air cylinder module, a sheet selection servo motor module and a sheet selection servo driver module, and the PLC module is connected with the human-computer interface and the main servo driver module. According to the adjustable mold control system and the control method thereof, the opening size of an adjustable mold can be automatically adjusted, firstly, an opening gear is selected through the human-computer interface, an opening is controlled to be closed through an opening servo, a moved-out metal sheet is pushed back through an air cylinder, and a sheet selecting servo enables a sheet selecting mechanism to move to the debugg
