The invention provides a fan device for a switch cabinet. The fan device comprises a shell, a middle partition plate, a fan, a valve plate, and a microswitch, wherein the shell comprises a top wall, a bottom wall, a front side wall, a rear side wall, a left side wall and a right side wall. The middle partition plate divides the shell into a front side cavity and a rear side cavity, and an exhaust hole is formed in the rear side cavity. The fan is installed in the front side cavity, an air outlet of the fan faces the middle partition plate, an air outlet hole is formed in the middle partition plate, and an air inlet hole is formed in the front side cavity. The valve plate is hinged in the rear side cavity and has a covering state of covering the air outlet hole when no wind exists and an opening state of being blown open by the wind when the fan is started. The microswitch is installed in the front side cavity, a driving part of the microswitch penetrates through the middle partition plate and extends into the
