The invention relates to a connecting structure at a building node and a construction method of the connecting structure. The connecting structure comprises two oppositely arranged fixing plates, two pipe fittings and a connecting piece; two oppositely arranged limiting plates are connected between the two fixing plates; the two limiting plates and the two fixing plates enclose to form a communicating space for a cross beam to penetrate; the two pipe fittings are arranged in a butt joint mode and used for being connected with a stand column; grooves are formed in the opposite ends of the two pipe fittings and correspond to the two fixing plates; the two pipe fittings are clamped to the fixing plates through the grooves, then the two pipe fittings are fixedly connected, and the pipe fittings are fixed to the fixing plates; and the connecting piece is fixedly connected between the two fixing plates and used for being connected with a truss. The problem that the strength of the building node is poor is effective
