The invention discloses a data quality detection method and a data quality detection engine. The method comprises: obtaining data detection configuration parameters of a target model, wherein the datadetection configuration parameters are used for determining detection items of a target database table; obtaining the target database table, wherein the target database table is generated according to the target model; and performing data quality detection on the target database table according to the data detection configuration parameters to obtain a data quality detection result of the targetdatabase table.
