The method comprises the steps of obtaining an emotion recognition request sent by aterminal device; performing segmentation operation on the target voice data to obtain a plurality of effective voice segments of the target voice data; determining an emotion level corresponding to the target voice data according to the plurality of effective voice segments; and sending the emotion level corresponding to the target voice data to the terminal device.
