Summary: | The invention discloses an EPS phase current fault detection method, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the three-phase voltage duty ratio, bus voltage, motor electrical angle and motor body characteristic parameters of a motor, and determining the three-phase prediction current of the motor according to the obtained three-phase voltage duty ratio, bus voltage, motor electrical angle and motor body characteristic parameters of the motor; comparing the motor three-phase predicted current with the motor three-phase actual current, and determining whether the EPS phase current has a fault or not according to the comparison result. Thus, even if a low-cost double resistor or a low-cost single resistor is adopted in the EPS for sampling, the EPS phase current can still be checked, the purpose of monitoring the EPS phase current in real time is achieved, the hardware cost is reduced, and meanwhile EPS system current sampling meets the requirement of functional safety ASIL D.
