The invention discloses a combustion chamber and a gas engine. The combustion chamber comprises a piston upper top face located at the top of a piston and a combustion chamber pit which is sunken downwards relative to the piston upper top face, and the center of the combustion chamber pit deviates towards the direction of an exhaust valve relative to a piston center line. A piston section which passes through the piston center line and is perpendicular to the center connecting line of an intake valve and the exhaust valve is a first piston longitudinal section, and the combustion chamber pit comprises an exhaust side pit and an intake side pit which are located at the two sides of the first piston longitudinal section.
