Summary: | The invention belongs to the technical field of functional fibers, and relates to a negative oxygen ion polyester fiber with a four-leaf-shaped skin-core structure and a preparation method thereof. The composite fiber is composed of a modified polyester/functional additive skin layer and a polyester core layer, wherein the mass ratio of the skin layer to the core layer is 1:1-1:4; and modified polyester in the skin layer is poly(2,5-dihydroxy ethylene terephthalate) resin or poly (2-hydroxy ethylene terephthalate) resin, and functional additives are non-radioactive natural mineral powder withan obvious negative ion generation effect and include but not limited to tourmaline, serpentine and rare earth minerals.
