The invention discloses a preparation method of a polyaluminum ferric chloride flocculant. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step 1, respectively preparing a 1mol/L AlCl3 solution,a 1mol/L FeCl3 solution and a 1mol/L NaOH solution; step 2, mixing the AlCl3 solution prepared in the step 1 and the FeCl3 solution prepared in the step 1 according to a certain proportion to obtaina mixed solution A, performing stirring on a constant-temperature magnetic stirrer, and then slowly dropwise adding a certain amount of NaOH solution prepared in the step 1 into the mixed solution A to obtain a mixed solution B; and step 3, polymerizing the mixed solution B obtained in the step 2 at room temperature, performing curing, heating, concentrating, drying, and grinding to obtain the product. The preparation method is simple and convenient, high in energy efficiency and good in economic benefit.
