Summary:A compact ultrasonic flow meter, especially for gas, is formed by an n-hedron shaped body (1), wherein n is 6 to 24, with three or four longitudinal circular openings. The axis of the body (1) is perpendicular to the axis of the gas pipe. The structural length of the body (1) is standardized according to the length of mechanical gas meters and comprises two or three flow conditioning segments (7,8, 9) which serve to guide the flow between the individual longitudinal circular openings, in which at least two ultrasonic sensors (14) are located, while the side covers (12, 13) close the body (1)from the sides. 特别是用于气体的小型超声波流量计由具有三个或四个纵向圆形开口的n边形主体(1)形成,其中n为6到24。所述主体(1)的轴线垂直于气体管道的轴线。所述主体(1)的结构长度根据机械气量计的长度标准化,且包括两个或三个流量调节段(7、8、9),所述流量调节段用以引导各个纵向圆形开口之间的流量,所述纵向圆形开口中定位有至少两个超声波传感器(14),侧盖(12、13)则从侧面合在所述主体(1)上。
