This method for separating and recovering carbon dioxide includes: a step for bringing a particulate carbon dioxide adsorbent into contact with a carbon dioxide-containing gas to be treated, and adsorbing carbon dioxide contained in the gas to be treated onto the carbon dioxide adsorbent; and a step for regenerating the carbon dioxide adsorbent and recovering desorbed carbon dioxide, by bringing acarbon dioxide adsorbent in which carbon dioxide is adsorbed, into contact with desorption vapor, to desorb carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide adsorbent.
