The method is applied to the server and comprises the steps of acquiring a target service number segment input by a user at a unified service entrance of an express cabinet, wherein the unified service entrance comprises a storage entrance and a pickup entrance; matching the target service number segment with a preset number segment rule, and determining a target service type corresponding to the target service number segment; and sending an operation instruction corresponding to the target service type to an express cabinet to indicate the express cabinet to execute a service process matched with the target service type and open a target cell door, so that theuser completes the target service. According to the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the success rate of using the express cabinet to carry out various express storing and taking services can be improved.
