Summary: | The invention discloses a regulation effect of hydrogen-rich water on liver cholesterol metabolism related genes. According to the regulation effect, a hypercholesterolemia mouse model is established,meanwhile, hydrogen-rich water with different concentrations of hydrogen molecules is adopted for intervention, biomarkers participating in cholesterol metabolism in the liver are quantitatively analyzed, and the influence and the possible mechanism of the hydrogen-rich water on the liver cholesterol metabolism of the hypercholesterolemia mouse are researched. Experiments show that the hydrogen-rich water reduces the serum LDL-C level, promotes the conversion of cholesterol into bile acid and reduces the cholesterol level by up-regulating the expression of SREBP2, LDLR, LXR and CYP7A1, so that the hydrogen-rich water can be used for preparing medicines for reducing cholesterol.
