Summary: | The invention provides a method for producing a positive electrode material for a secondary battery. The method is used for producing a carbon-coated fluorine-containing positive electrode material for a secondary battery. The method comprises the following steps: (a) providing a precursor with carbon coating and fluoride containing alkali metal to form secondary particles; (b) providing a closedsystem which is provided with a containing space, wherein the containing space is filled with the secondary particles, and the volume filling rate of the secondary particles in the containing space islarger than 30%; and (c) carrying out heat treatment at a temperature of 300-900 DEG C in a non-oxidizing environment to produce the positive electrode material.
