The invention relates to a vehicle with a high-voltage accumulator which has a housing and at least one battery module arranged in the housing that has multiple battery cells (1) which are electrically connected together via a cell contacting system (6). Each of the battery cells (1) has a battery cell housing (2) with an emergency degassing opening (2b) which opens at a specified cell inner pressure and through which hot or burning gas (3) can be leaked out of the interior of the battery cell housing (2) into the housing of the high-voltage accumulator in the event of a disruption or damage to individual battery cells (1). The emergency degassing openings (2b) face the cell contacting system (6) and/or a wall (4) of the housing of the high-voltage accumulator, wherein the cell contactingsystem (6) and/or the wall (4) of the housing of the high-voltage accumulator is/are provided with a heat protection layer (7), in particular a heat protection paint layer (7), at least in the regionsin which the emergency de
