The invention provides overlapping sewage treatment equipment and method for coastal region quasi-IV-class water. The equipment comprises a grating well, a water collecting tank, a coagulating sedimentation tank, integrated sewage treatment equipment, an ozone contact tank and a sodium hypochlorite disinfection tank, which are communicated in sequence; the integrated sewage treatment equipment comprises an anaerobic zone, a first-stage anoxic zone, a first-stage aerobic zone, a second-stage anoxic zone, a second-stage aerobic zone and a membrane zone, which are sequentially communicated; the integrated sewage treatment equipment further comprises an equipment room, and a clear water tank is further arranged in the equipment room. The equipment is suitable for sewage treatment in coastal areas, and has the advantages of small occupied area, low energy consumption, low investment and operation cost, and simple and convenient operation and maintenance. The effluent quality reaches class IV. The invention also pr
