The invention discloses a roller changing method for an old three-roller rolling mill. The method comprises the following steps that (1) a rolling mill backup cover and a tilting fillet cooling waterpipe are disassembled; (2) all the guard plates are lifted away, and front and rear portal frames are opened; (3) sleeves are constrained on connecting rods, and then rollers and a tilting fillet aredisassembled; (4) standby rollers and a standby tilting fillet which are offline assembled are pushed into a rack; (5) roller heads are aligned with the sleeves and assembled into the sleeves throughroller rotating; and (6) the cooling water pipe is assembled, the front and rear portal frames are taken back, an inlet and an outlet are adjusted, the rolling mill backup cover is assembled, roller gaps are adjusted and the guard plates are covered.
