Summary:Provided are: a graphite sheet having favorable heat diffusion properties and flexibility; and a method for producing the same. This method for producing a graphite sheet containing 0.01 to 1.10 wt% of phosphorus includes: a carbonization step in which a polyimide film having a phosphate content within a prescribed range is carbonized to obtain a carbonaceous film; and a graphitizing step in whichthe carbonaceous film is subjected to a heat treatment at a prescribed temperature increase rate and a maximum temperature of at least 2,600 deg C. 提供热扩散性及柔软性良好的石墨片及其制造方法。磷含量为0.01重量%以上且0.10重量%以下的石墨片的制造方法包括:碳化工序,通过使磷酸盐含量处于规定范围内的聚酰亚胺膜碳化来获得碳质膜;石墨化工序,以规定的升温速度且以2600℃以上的最高温度,对所述碳质膜进行热处理来获得石墨片。
