Summary: | The invention discloses a surface treatment process of a rear-damping workpiece of a damper for an automobile. The surface treatment process includes the following steps of 1, painting, wherein the surfaces of an oil storage barrel and an outer dust cover of the rear-damping workpiece of the damper are painted; 2, welding, wherein a lifting ring is welded to the dust cover treated in the step 1; and 3, waterborne paint making-up, wherein waterborne paint is sprayed to the welding portions of the lifting ring and the dust cover. In the step 1, a painting method includes electrophoretic painting.
