Summary:A winding structure of a superconducting current-limiting transformer is composed of an n1-layer cylindrical high-voltage winding and a plurality of n2-layer cylindrical low-voltage windings which areconnected in parallel, n1 >= 2, and n2>= 2. Insulating strips are arranged between the layers of the high-voltage winding and the low-voltage winding at equal intervals along the circumference to play interlayer insulation and heat dissipation roles. End flanges of the high-voltage winding and the low-voltage winding are of star arm structures so as to play a role in end heat dissipation. The high-voltage winding and the low-voltage winding are both made of stainless steel reinforced YBCO superconducting tapes. When a power system works normally, the coil winding of the superconducting transformer is in a superconducting state, the resistance is zero, and when the power system breaks down, the high-voltage winding and the low-voltage winding quench quickly, so that the effect of limitingfault current is achieved.
