The invention discloses a method for accelerating face feature similarity analysis. The method comprises the steps: carrying out the neural network model operation for an analysis pair, and obtainingw layers of intermediate node features and tail end node features; for the intermediate node features acquired each time, judging whether the feature similarity of the intermediate node features of the layer is greater than a corresponding intermediate threshold value, if the feature similarity is greater than or equal to the corresponding intermediate threshold value, outputting a conclusion thatthe two face pictures in the analysis pair are the same person, and meanwhile, stopping neural network model operation on the analysis pair; and if the feature similarity of the w layers of intermediate node features is less than the corresponding intermediate threshold, judging whether the feature similarity of the tail end node features is greater than the tail end threshold or not, and outputting a judgment conclusion.
