Summary: | The invention discloses a two-stage catalytic denitrification device and method for removing nitrate in water. The device comprises a cylinder; a first-stage reaction unit and a second-stage reactionunit are sequentially arranged in the cylinder; a transition unit is arranged between the first-stage reaction unit and the second-stage reaction unit; and water to be treated firstly enters the first-stage reaction unit to be subjected to catalytic reaction and then enters the second-stage reaction unit through a transition unit to be subjected to catalytic reaction; the first-stage reaction unitis provided with a first catalyst, and the second-stage reaction unit is provided with a second catalyst.
