Summary:The invention discloses a stemmed curing method capable of effectively reducing aroma characteristic attenuation of cinnabar tobacco. The method comprises the steps of harvesting proper mature cinnabar fresh tobacco leaves; cutting off main veins of the tobacco leaves, braiding the leaves on two sides of the main veins and loading into a curing barn; and baking the loaded tobacco leaves, and carrying out curing control in a yellowing stage and a leaf drying stage to obtain cured cinnabar tobacco. According to the method, the aroma characteristic attenuation rule of the cinnabar tobacco at a high temperature is used as a theoretical basis; firstly, stems of the tobacco leaves are removed, the leaf drying period is properly prolonged, low-temperature curing is carried out on the stem-free tobacco leaves by being matched with slow heating, the purpose of delaying closing of cinnabar tobacco holes in the high-temperature curing process is achieved, so that glutinous rice aroma generated inthe cinnabar tobacco cur
