The invention provides a glyph editing method and electronic equipment, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining a first image which comprises a first character of a first glyph; determining a target editing area of a first character in the first image based on a first input of a user; performing deformation processing on the target editing area to obtain a first image after deformation processing; and packaging the first image subjected to deformation processing into a font file. According to the invention, the user can edit the fonts of the characters by himself/herself according to ownhobbies, so that the fonts of the characters used on the electronic equipment can better meet the personalized requirements of the user. 本发明提供一种字形编辑方法及电子设备，该方法包括：获取第一图像，所述第一图像中包括第一字形的第一文字；基于用户的第一输入，确定所述第一图像中的第一文字的目标编辑区域；对所述目标编辑区域进行变形处理，得到变形处理后的所述第一图像；将所述变形处理后的所述第一图像封装成字体文件。本发明使得用户能够根据自身喜好自行编辑文字的字形，进而使得电子设备上使用的文字的字形能够更好地满足用户的个性化需求。
