Summary:The invention discloses a cable-free seismic acquisition instrument seismic source excitation time recorder and a recording method. A waveform processing unit is used for acquiring a waveform generated at the moment of explosion and sending the waveform to a processor; a waveform data storage unit is used for storing the waveform data received by the processor; a time synchronization unit is usedfor receiving low-power radio signals emitted by a satellite to obtain GPS time and sending the GPS time to the processor, and the processor combines the received waveform data with the GPS time and judges whether the waveform in the current GPS time is shock waves generated by firecracker explosion or not according to the waveform data. When the processor judges that the received waveform data isshock waves generated by firecracker explosion, the time synchronization unit can accurately obtain the GPS time of the output excitation seismic source so as to guarantee the seismic source excitation time to be synchronous
