Summary: | The invention relates to a method for estimating the full charge capacity of a lithium battery. The method comprises the following steps of S1, respectively setting initial values of the maximum mechanical capacity Qmax and the charging time constant tau of the lithium battery; S2, respectively judging whether conditions for updating the maximum mechanical capacity Qmax and the charging time constant tau are met or not, if so, calculating a corresponding latest value and updating, if not, keeping the values of the maximum mechanical capacity Qmax and the charging time constant tau unchanged; S3, calculating to obtain virtual electric quantity Qv according to the charging time constant tau and a set cut-off current Ic; and S4, calculating the full charge capacity FCC of the lithium batteryaccording to the maximum chemical capacity Qmax and the virtual electric quantity Qv. Compared with the prior art, the method has advantages of easiness in detection, high precision, high adaptabilityand the like.
