The method comprises: detecting Chinese character handwriting input by a user via a writing instrument (S201), the Chinese character handwriting comprising at least one stroke and the stroke comprising at least two Chinese character handwriting points; acquiring a Chinese character handwriting template corresponding to theChinese character handwriting (S202); and matching the Chinese character handwriting with the Chinese character handwriting template, so as to obtain a matching result, and outputting notification information corresponding to the matching result (S203).
