Summary:The invention discloses a metal wire alloy material for a precision resistor and a manufacturing method thereof. The metal wire alloy material for the precision resistor comprises the following components according to the mass percentage: 10-20% of Mn, 3-7% of Ni, 0.1 to 0.3% of Si, 0.5 to 1.5% of Fe, 0.1 to 1.0% of In, 0-0.5% of Ge, 0.1 to 0.5% of Al, and the balance being Cu. The manufacturing method of the metal wire alloy material for the precision resistor comprises the following steps of: step 1. preparing raw materials and compounding; step 2. performing vacuum melting; step 3. forginga cast ingot; step 4. performing hot rolling, and performing vacuum annealing in the intermediate process; and step 5. performing stretching treatment.
