The present invention discloses a road greening plant pruning device. The road greening plant pruning device comprises a machine body; the machine body is internally provided with a working cavity; the working cavity is externally provided with a pruning assembly for pruning the tops and the side surfaces of plants; the top surface pruning assembly comprises a lifting block in up-down sliding connection with the inner wall of the back side of the working cavity; the left end of the lifting block is in hinged connection with a hinged shaft; and the interior of the lifting block is rotationallyconnected with a spline sleeve which extends up and down. When the device works, the top surfaces and the side surfaces of the plants can be pruned by the pruning assembly, pruned branches and leavescan be recovered by a recovery assembly, branches and leaves of a feeding cylinder can be bent by a bending assembly, and the branches and leaves can be crushed and collected by a crushing and collecting assembly, so that the
