The invention provides a controllable temperature steam generator for traditional Chinese medicinal materials. The controllable temperature steam generator comprises a box body, wherein a support is arranged at the bottom of the box body, the bottom of the box body is further connected with an external combustion chamber, steaming nets which are horizontally placed are sequentially arranged in thebox body from top to bottom, a vent valve is arranged at the top of the box body, the bottom of the inner side of the box body is further provided with a horizontal steam pipe, one end of the steam pipe extends upwards to form a plurality of vertical steam branch pipes, each steam branch pipe is provided with a steam thin pipe between every two steaming nets, the other end of the steam pipe is connected with the external combustion chamber, a throttle valve is arranged between the other end of the steam pipe and the external combustion chamber, the side wall of the box body is also provided with a temperature sensor
