Summary: | The invention discloses a time delay estimation method based on cross-correlation signal phase decomposition. The method comprises the following steps that received signal propagation delay are decomposed into K full periods and Psi phase offset; an extreme value of a correlation coefficient between a cross-correlation signal and a single-periodic function signal is obtained by setting the single-periodic function signal, and then full-period phase shift is performed in the direction of zero moment to obtain a first oscillation starting point of the cross-correlation signal, so that the time delay of a received signal is obtained. The whole operation process is low in complexity, the method is very suitable for being achieved in any embedded chip programming based on the C language, wide scene adaptability is achieved, and a high-precision measurement result can be obtained.
