The invention provides a remote control car and a remote control method. The remote control car comprises a car body and a driving mechanism for driving the car body, the remote control car further comprises a processing module, a camera shooting module, a wireless communication module and an anti-collision sensor which are installed on the car body. The camera shooting module can shoot images of360 degrees around the camera shooting module. The processing module is respectively connected with the camera module, the wireless communication module, the posture recognition sensor and the anti-collision sensor; the wireless communication module receives a control signal, and the processing module sends an instruction to the driving mechanism according to the received control signal so as to control the vehicle body to run. The beneficial effects of the invention are that the remote control car also has a background driving function besides manual driving, and the background driving function employs a 5G high-spee
