Summary:The invention discloses a method for preparing a high-purity natural capsaicin monomer. The method comprises the following steps: (1) grinding: taking a certain amount of a capsaicin crude product, and grinding the capsaicin crude product into powder; (2) alcohol dissolution: dissolving the powdery capsaicin-containing crude product obtained in the step (1) in an ethanol water solution, fully stirring for 20-30 minutes to obtain a capsaicin solution, and filtering the capsaicin solution for later use; (3) adsorption: pumping the capsaicin solution filtered in the step (2) into an adsorption resin column; (4) elution: eluting the resin column in the step (3) with an ethanol aqueous solution; and (5) crystallization: concentrating and crystallizing the capsaicin qualified eluent in the step(4) to obtain capsaicin crystals.
