Summary:A head restraint for a vehicle seat is provided. In one embodiment, the head restraint includes a body defining an exterior surface, where the exterior surface of the body is divided into one or moretouch zones. The head restraint also includes a material configured to generate a variable resistance in response to receiving a user input. The material located underneath the exterior surface of thehead restraint where the one or more touch zones are located. The head restraint also includes one or more actuation mechanisms configured to move the head restraint relative to the vehicle seat.
