Summary: | The invention discloses a conduction electrical prospecting method for estimating horizontal flow characteristics of underground water. The method comprises the following steps: adding soluble minerals (such as edible salt) to a part connected with underground water; conductive electrical prospecting is carried out through the at least three measuring electrodes, the resistivity change conditionsof the prospecting area before and after addition of soluble substances are detected, and the horizontal flow direction, the flow velocity amplitude and the flow of underground water are estimated byadopting related formulas, so that the horizontal flow characteristics of the underground water are obtained.
