The invention discloses an equal-length cutting mechanism for multireel paper. The equal-length cutting mechanism comprises two or more sets of roll paper storing frame, a traction device composed ofa pressing roller and a power roller, and a knife roller; and the equal-length cutting mechanism is characterized in that corresponding tension detecting devices are arranged between the roll paper storing frames and the traction device, the roll paper storing frames are provided with roll paper storing shafts, braking devices are mounted on the roll paper storing shafts, and the tension detectingdevices are connected with the corresponding braking devices through electric control devices.
