Summary: | The invention discloses a method for preparing a lithium battery cathode material by sintering through a gel forming process. The method comprises the following steps: S1, putting deionized water anduniformly mixed cathode material unburned powder into a ball mill to uniformly mixing; S2, adding an organic additive polyethylene glycol and/or polyvinyl alcohol into the ball mill, and continuing ball milling to obtain slurry; S3, performing vacuum degassing on the slurry, then injecting the slurry into a mold for curing molding, and performing sufficient drying to obtain a green body; and S4, putting the green body into a sagger, and carrying out solid-phase sintering in an air or oxygen atmosphere to obtain the cathode material. According to the method, the thickness of the formed powder is small, heat exchange can be better conducted in the sintering process, heat conduction is greatly improved, the material sintering time is shortened, and energy consumption is reduced; the formed powder has no stacking shap |
