Summary: | A transmission includes input (28) and output (200) shafts, a hybrid module (12) coupled to the input shaft (28) and a gearbox (16) coupled to the hybrid module (12) and output shaft (200). The hybridmodule (12) includes a first electric motor (40) underdriven by a gearset (36); a second electric motor (48) coupled to a module output (56), a disconnect clutch (32) coupled to the gearset (36) andselectively to the input shaft (28); and a launch clutch (44) coupled to the disconnect clutch (32) and selectively to the module output (56). The gearbox (16) includes three gearsets (148, 152, 156)and five torque transmitting devices (122, 128, 132, 136, 140) operable to generate six forward speeds. One torque transmitting device is a selectively controllable one-way clutch (136).
