The invention provides a method for displaying BIOS (Basic Input Output System) information at the early stage of power-on self-test of a computer system. The computer system comprises a processing unit, a baseboard management controller, a BIOS program module and a display unit, the method comprises the steps that the baseboard management controller initializes the display unit; the processing unit generates BIOS information by executing the BIOS program module; the processing unit transmits the BIOS information to the baseboard management controller; and the baseboard management controller outputs the BIOS information to the display unit. 本发明提供一种在计算机系统开机自检的早期显示BIOS信息的方法，该计算机系统包含一处理单元、一基板管理控制器、一BIOS程序模块、及一显示单元。该方法包含：该基板管理控制器初始化该显示单元；该处理单元藉由执行该BIOS程序模块来产生一BIOS信息；该处理单元将该BIOS信息传送给该基板管理控制器；及该基板管理控制器输出该BIOS信息给该显示单元。
