Summary: | The invention discloses a method and system for monitoring a cable joint by an NB-IOT technology. The method comprises the steps of acquiring a temperature value and a humidity value of the cable joint based on a data acquisition module arranged on the cable joint; realizing data conversion of the temperature value and the humidity value based on an analog-to-digital conversion module on a terminal control module, and generating temperature and humidity acquisition data; and sending the temperature and humidity acquisition data to a cloud platform based on an NB-IOT module. According to the embodiment of the invention, the equipment can monitor the parameter information of the cable joint in real time, and the monitoring information is transmitted through the NB-IoT technology, so that themanpower resources and cost are greatly reduced, and the data obtaining accuracy is improved through the automatic monitoring in the equipment.
