The embodiment of the invention provides a fake MAC group discovery method and device. The method comprises the following steps: segmenting a to-be-recognized MAC address into at least two character strings for each to-be-recognized MAC address in a to-be-recognized MAC address set; combining the MAC addresses to be identified in pairs to obtain MAC address pairs; obtaining a distance between MACaddresses included in the MAC address pair; screening out MAC address pairs of which the distances between the addresses are smaller than a first preset threshold value, taking MAC addresses in the MAC address pairs as nodes of the relational graph, and making edges between the MAC address pairs to obtain an initial relational graph; and obtaining a sub-connected graph of which the vertex number is greater than a second preset threshold from the initial relation graph, and taking the MAC address corresponding to the sub-connected graph as a forged MAC address group. By applying the embodimentof the invention, the tech
