The invention discloses a method for preparing cyclohexane dimethylamine. The method comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out a dehydrogenation reaction on cyclohexane dimethanol under the catalysis of a dehydrogenation catalyst to obtain cyclohexanediformaldehyde; and (2) carrying out a hydroamination reaction on the cyclohexane dicarboxaldehyde obtained in the step (1), liquid ammonia andhydrogen under the action of an amination catalyst to obtain cyclohexane dimethylamine.
