Summary: | The present invention discloses construction and identification of immortalized human endometriotic stromal cells (ihESCs) and relates to endometriosis. The construction and identification of the ihESCs comprises the following steps: construction of the ihESCs; identification of basic physiological functions of the ihESCs; verification of estrogen stress response of the ihESCs; detection of inflammatory response of the ihESCs; and detection of tumorigenicity of the ihESCs. The constructed ihESCs keep original cell morphology, at the same time, a cell growth cycle is obviously prolonged, proliferation rate, expressions of estrogen/progestogen receptors, EMT marker protein, estrogen metabolic enzymes, etc., and cell chromatin karyotype are not changed, at the same time, the estrogen and inflammatory stress responses are both changed, and the constructed cells have no tumorigenicity.
