An air purification device of the present invention includes an electrode unit that electrolyzes an aqueous solution stored in a liquid tank, and a control unit that controls energization of the electrode unit. The control unit detects the current flowing in the electrode unit. The control unit also performs specified energization on the electrode unit after a drainage detection unit detects thatan aqueous solution is discharged. The control unit allows a drainage informing unit to inform about the necessity of draining the aqueous solution in the liquid tank when the current flowing throughthe electrode unit exceeds a threshold value after the predetermined energization is detected. 本发明的空气净化装置包括将贮存在液槽的水溶液电解的电极单元、和控制对电极单元的通电的控制部。控制部检测在电极单元流动的电流。控制部还在由排水检测部检测出水溶液被排出之后对电极单元进行规定的通电。控制部在进行规定的通电之后检测出在电极单元流过的电流超过了阈值的情况下，使排水报知部报知液槽内的水溶液的排水的必要性。
