Summary: | The invention discloses a flexible structure based on reeds and an S-shaped arm with the same. The flexible structure comprises a flexible unit. The flexible unit comprises a foundation and a supporting rack fixedly connected into the foundation. The foundation is divided into an upper foundation part and a lower foundation part. The supporting rack is divided into a first supporting rack body andtwo second supporting rack bodies. The reeds are installed between the supporting rack bodies. The adjacent supporting rack bodies are integrally connected through the reeds. The bending angle of a single segment of the flexible structure is evenly distributed among all the joints, and due to the virtual revolving center, the influence of joint rope discs on final arcs can be eliminated. Integrated processing reduces assembly errors, compared with pure soft/pure flexible robots, the axial anti-pressure capacity of the flexible structure is greatly improved, and the bearing capacity of the tail end is enhanced.
